This is Grace O’Malley. The pirate cat with the missing leg. Actually, it’s not missing. Her right front leg is a bit deformed and has only one toe, with a claw attached to it, that looks like a hook. A pirate captain’s hook. Since she’s a female, I had to find a female pirate name for her, and I found out about Grace O’Malley, an Irish lady pirate that lived in the 16^th century. Now we call her Gracie. Or Disgracie, depending on how she’s behaving. For now, she broke one candle holder, a vase and a lamp shade. She’ll be six months old at the end of October.
